GEN Keith B. Alexander retired from active duty and relinquished command of the U.S. Cyber Command and Director, NSA/Chief, Central Security Service. Alexander holds the distinction of being the longest-serving director of the NSA as well as the first Commander of USCYBERCOM. Classmate GEN Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, presided over the ceremony.
